Self-catering Accommodation at Godrevy Court - Carbis Bay - St Ives - Cornwall - UK
Carbis Bay
A delightful golden bay with magnificent views
The self-catering apartment "Rosen" is ideally situated in the heart of Carbis Valley on the seaward side of Carbis Bay within a few minutes walk of the beautiful golden sands and crystal clear waters of Carbis Bay beach.
The sea at Carbis Bay is calmer than other bays in the area and therefore ideal for water sports and for children to play safely. The beach (one of several in the Penwith District) is dog free during the summer months.
There are outstanding sea and coastal views from Carbis Bay and the Cornwall Coastal Path above. To St Ives,
the harbour and "The Island" in the one direction. Towards the Hayle estuary, Porth Kidney sands, Gwithian Towans
and Godrevy Lighthouse in the other.
St Ives bay boasts 3 miles of golden sandy beaches, the beach at Hayle is just one of them. The Hayle Estuary is one of only a few sheltered estuaries on Cornwall's north coast and is an RSPB site renowned for bird watching all the year round.
At Godrevy Point you can and enjoy the suset over the Lighthouse, and if lucky, watch the seals play nearby in the shallow waters.
Beach Facilities:
The Carbis Bay Hotel provides facilities for visitors to the beach including toilets, a cafe and a shop selling ice-creams, postcards and assorted beach goods. Beach huts, deck-chairs and wind breaks are available for hire.
The hotel itself is open to non-residents and serves delicious afternoon teas.
